Project Design

From our initial contact NSP will work with you, providing guidance and advice to help you realise your aspirations.  We believe that how the space is used is just as important as the quality of the finish.  Our attention to detail and wide ranging experience means that every opportunity to maximize the development area is achieved. NSP marries the skills of our experienced trades people with the flair and precision of our architects, and where appreciated they work closely together to provide our clients with stunning and achievable results.  NSP also will help you through the process of creating  structural calculations as well as planning and building control applications, and also the legal requirement through recommended party wall surveyors.

 

Development and management

NSP offers a complete construction solution.  From project commencement, every aspect of the project is overseen by one of our managers who have at least 10 years experience in this sector, further support and communication is offered to all of our clients by way of direct contact with NSPc' s directors.  Our clients appreciate the transparency in regard to how their project is managed, and the consistency of the personnel visiting their home. Once the project is underway our clients are soon on first name terms with the team members undertaking their development.  This tried and tested management process means that we maintain unrivalled quality and attention to detail.  NSP also ensures that budgets are monitored and delivery is met within the required project duration.

1) If you are planning a project and would like to see how NSP may help, then please

call 0330 333 0011 or fill in your details on our email enquiry form (link).

 

2) We will then contact you to discuss your ideas and answer any initial questions you might have.

3) Once we have a brief overview of your requirements we will arrange for one our team to visit you,(usually the NSP directors) to meet you and view the property, and provide further assistance under no obligation.

4) If you wish to move forward with NSP then we will ask one of our bank of designers/architects  to contact you to start the drawing process, deal with planning and building control requirments, unless you have already had drawings produced of course.

5) Once an approved drawing is provided then we will present you with a quotation, we believe that providing information transparently is the best way to provide our clients with the likely contract expenditure, so we provide costs broken down into direct expenses to NSP's operation fees and contractor's profit.  Clients also can inspect our supplier quotations, so that they fully understand how we have arrived at the figure presented. 

6) On acceptance of the quotation we will produce a contract for signing by both parties.


 

 

Loft conversion Ealing W13

Project type

Loft conversion, including mansard roof extension.

Space created:

Two additional bedrooms were created, and an additional shower room.

Background to project

Having decided to convert their loft, this client asked a number of loft specialist firms to look at their conversion and provide a quote. The general consensus was that the only way that the loft could be converted was to lower the first floor ceilings.  However due to NSP's skilled and experienced trades people, we were able to convert the loft without lowering the first floor ceiling height, or raising the houses roof ridge height, that would have contravened planning policy.

Conclusion

The client was delighted with NSP's solution, which meant that they could avoid the extra expense and disruption of having to move out of their home whilst the conversion was being created.  NSP could achieve what other firms thought was impossible.
